Job Description:
St. Paul Hmong Alliance Church (SPHAC) is seeking a full-time Next Generation (Gen) Ministry
pastor. The Next Gen pastor will serve SPHAC by giving equal emphasis to the needs of single
adults, young couples, and families.
The majority of the duties and responsibilities of the Next Gen Pastor will include, but is not
limited to the following:

Preach expository sermons
-
Develop Christian growth among participants in the Next Gen ministry

Oversee the Single Adults and Young Couples
-
Share the gospel
-
Lead the ministry to better serve the Next Gen community
Other responsibilities and qualifications:

Must believe in the same doctrine of the Christian & Missionary Alliance
-
Must be willing to support SPHAC’s mission and vision
-
Must love God, be dedicated to serving the Lord, uphold faith, and be submissive to the truth of the Bible
-
Must have a seminary education, a Master of Divinity is strongly preferred.

SPHAC is a church with Small Groups, the ideal applicant is someone who also believes in Small Groups
-
Must have the aptitude to work alongside other leaders and Pastors.

Have a track record of leadership experience in developing believers’ spiritual growth, sharing the gospel, and some administrative experience.

Have the ability to connect with others to help foster and build relationships, especially with single adults and young couples.

Develop spiritual and physical growth of the Next Gen community.

Should speak fluent English and be familiarized with the Next Gen community and its culture.

Having the ability to speak Hmong is a plus, but not required.
